October 2026 | Notice What's Becoming Clear

What if you didn't need another answer right now? What if you simply needed a little space to notice what was already happening?

Welcome to October's Mindful Monday | Journal With Kim.

Throughout this month, I'm using the Moon as a reflective lens to explore four themes:

Being Seen • Emotional Energy • Community & Growth • What We've Been Tending

You don't have to know astrology to participate. You don't have to believe the Moon is making anything happen in your life. I use astrology, much like numerology, as another tool for reflection. It gives me different questions to consider, patterns to explore, and opportunities to become more aware of myself.

That is also what I want this space to offer you. You don't have to answer every question. Choose the one that gets your attention. Maybe you feel something. Maybe a memory surfaces. Maybe you immediately think, Oh. Maybe nothing happens at all. That's information, too. You don't have to manufacture an answer. Start with what gets your attention.

Being Seen & Taking Up Space

Leo has me reflecting on visibility, authenticity, belonging, and how it actually feels to take up space. Sometimes we're comfortable being seen in certain roles. The professional. The parent. The leader. The person everyone depends on but what about being seen as ourselves? Not just for what we do, what we accomplish, or what others expect from us. Just us.

For this week's reflection, I'm getting curious about the difference between being visible and feeling free to be fully ourselves.

🌻 Journal Prompts

1. Where do I feel most like myself and what would it look like to spend more time there?

2. How does it actually feel when I allow myself to be fully seen?

3. Where am I making myself smaller to fit the space and what would change if I stopped?

4. Where am I editing myself to belong and what would happen if I didn't?

A thought to carry forward: What if belonging didn't require me to become less of myself?

Emotional Energy & Depth

Not everything that gets our attention deserves access to our emotional energy. I've been thinking about that distinction lately. Something can be important without requiring all of us. We can care without carrying everything. We can pay attention without becoming emotionally invested in every outcome. As we move through the fourth quarter of the year, I'm thinking less about how much we can fit in and more about where our depth actually belongs.

Scorpio gives me a reflective lens for looking beneath the surface and examining where I'm investing my emotional energy.

🌻 Journal Prompts

1. What deserves my emotional energy and deep focus for the rest of this year?

2. Where am I emotionally invested in something that only requires my attention?

3. What deserves more of my depth than I've been giving it?

4. What am I carrying that doesn't require this much of my energy?

5. Where am I using my energy out of habit rather than intention?

A thought to carry forward: I can care deeply without carrying everything.

Community, Technology & Growth

Technology can create distance but it can also create access. It can help us learn, connect, collaborate, and contribute to communities we might not otherwise reach. I'm especially interested in how we can use it purposefully and positively. This reflection comes around the First Quarter Moon, which I'm using as a lens for challenge, tension, and growth. Sometimes growth asks us to reconsider not only what we're doing, but how we're doing it. Sometimes a tool we've resisted might offer a new possibility.

Aquarius has me thinking about innovation, community, and the ways we can use our resources to contribute beyond ourselves.

🌻 Journal Prompts

1. Where am I being challenged to grow in how I use technology to connect or contribute to community?

2. Who isn't being reached and how could I use technology differently to help close that gap?

3. What challenge in my community could technology help me address differently?

4. Where am I resisting a tool that could help me connect, contribute, or communicate more effectively?

5. Where could technology help me reach people I'm not reaching now?

A thought to carry forward: What if the next tool I learn helps me reach someone I haven't been able to reach before?

What Have You Been Tending?

For our final October reflection, the Full Moon gives us a mirror. Rather than beginning with What do I need to release?, let's first look at what our choices, attention, and care have actually been cultivating. Sometimes we're so focused on what's next that we forget to notice what's already growing. Sometimes what we're experiencing today offers information about what we've been tending or neglecting.

Taurus invites me to reflect on stability, support, values, and the things we're building over time.

🌻 Begin With This Question

If my life right now is reflecting what I've been tending, what is that reflection showing me?

As you write, try not to immediately label what you notice as good or bad. Just notice. This isn't about judging yourself. It's about seeing clearly.

🌻 Continue Your Reflection

1. What have I been tending that is actually bearing fruit?

Give yourself credit here. Gratitude can be more than saying I'm thankful. Sometimes gratitude is taking the time to notice what has grown because you cared for it.

2. What am I expecting to grow that I haven't actually been tending?

3. What am I calling stability that might actually be stagnation?

4. What looks stable in my life but no longer feels supportive?

A thought to carry forward: What I notice today can help me choose what I want to nurture tomorrow.

🌻 What Did You Notice This Month?

Four Mondays. Four different lenses and perhaps four different opportunities to understand yourself a little better. Maybe one question stayed with you. Maybe something you wrote surprised you. Maybe you noticed a pattern. Maybe you recognized something that deserves more of your attention or less of your emotional energy.

You don't have to turn every insight into an immediate decision. Sometimes awareness is the beginning of clarity. Sometimes clarity develops through what we choose to do next.

That's part of why I created The Intuitive RETURN™:

Recognize • Examine • Tune In • Understand • Respond • Navigate

A framework for returning to ourselves, exploring what we're experiencing, and navigating what comes next. You can revisit these questions whenever you need them, not just on Mondays. If you'd like support exploring something that surfaced, I offer a complimentary 30-minute Healthy Clarity Discovery Session.

Bring what you're navigating. We'll start there.

With clarity,
